Oh my gosh this is amazing!!♥ It’s an honour to be…
Thank you so much! And I’m really glad you like it~! Keep wearing cute outfits and you may inspire again :D
Finished up one of the girl sketches I had started! It feels so good to be able to draw digitally again XD
Here are a couple more sketches I’ve done! The first one is my finished Wander pic. I have plans to rearrange, resize and repeat some/all of the characters once I get my computer back. It won’t look much like it does now once I’m finished, but I wanted to get the characters drawn at the very least.
The next sketch I unfortunately did on a marker bleed page. It started out as a little practice piece, but I ended up liking it so I kept going. Which is always the case! I swear I’ve done some of my best drawings on the worst paper.
And lastly is just a face sketch of the mermaid. She’s going to be based on a butterfly koi fish. And of course, both these sketches will be finished up on my computer!
I’m using this pic as inspiration for the mermaid:
Okay some sketches I’ve been working on! Wander Over Yonder and some kawaii girls. I’ll post links to their inspiration in a mo.
EDIT: I was on mobile uploading these so I couldn’t post my inspiration for the girls drawings. Here they are:
Time for me to promote this again since I haven’t in awhile.
I’m open for commissions! Prices are listed above…just click the “Commission” banner to scroll through the images. I only accept payment through PayPal and I must receive payment BEFORE I begin your commission. All the work I do is digital; 300 dpi, large format, big enough for you to get prints made if you so choose. For personal use ONLY.
I will draw pretty much anything from any fandom, as well as OCs.
The only things I WON’T draw are: hardcore pore, gore, animal abuse.
If you’re interested or if you have any questions you can either send me a message through my Tumblr or you can email me at: email@example.com.
Please signal boost. Thank you :D
The urge to draw a turtle has been satiated.
I tried something a little different with the coloring…gradients! I kinda like the results so I’ll definitely try it again in the future.
I picked up this pic again. I opened it up after weeks of not even looking at it and realized just how terrible the face looked! So I found a ref and…well, I did a comparison. You can see a huge difference. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS USE REFS! Especially if you’re unsure of how things look offhand. You can see I got the basic idea of facial structure and lighting, but it just wasn’t quite right. Never be too ashamed or too lazy (as is my case) to use refs! It’s easy to think all the great artists that we look up to had everything memorized, but even they need help from models. And even artists that do a majority of their work from memory can only do so because they’ve used lots of refs and lots of practice over the years. But even they still use refs too!
This is kinda like, also a little pep talk for myself, because sometimes I forget taking a few extra minutes to Google search a ref or to do the pose myself will be so worth it in the end!
Now I am slowly piecing together refs for the rest of the pic in one way or another.
